The focus on price needs to change. Consumers want it to change. We just don’t have CEOs with leadership in Australia to provide that vision.

We bitch about the price of our food but never about the producers getting fucked to achieve this.
We bitch about foreign companies buying up our land, but never about the farmers selling their nation out.
We bitch about foreign companies buying out or financing resource companies, but never bitch about the prospectors in the mining sector (see most of the WA or QLD’s most wealthy) selling their companies out to foreign nations and companies.
We never ask the tough questions because we duck them, we dive them and we run scared from them.
- Why don’t we value our produce and producers and invest in them through their output?
- Why don’t we value our land and its ability to sustain this nation of ours?
- Why don’t we value and invest in our considerable resources and drive home greater profits locally?
- Why is it that the great Asian nations of Singapore, China, South Korea, Japan et al value our countries assets more than we do?
* We = the nation of Australia, as seen through the middle-swinging-voter group of people.
